HTC EVO 3D spotted in Kaspersky commercial

We should probably start keeping count of how many times we keep seeing the HTC EVO 3D on television. Between ABC’s Suburgatory, CBS’s Person of Interest, and NBC’s The Voice, it’s been quite busy lately. Now, it’s even appearing in non-Sprint, non-HTC commercials!

One G&E reader recently sent us the above video, which showcases the EVO 3D as one of a variety of different mobile devices needing protection from Kaspersky. The commercial states, “I shop on my laptop, I book flights on my tablet, I bank on my phone. I have Kaspersky ONE on all my devices, so I know I’m always safe. Introducing Kaspersky universal security: all you need is one.”

Of course, the commercial fails to mention that anti-virus software on Android devices is actually pretty unnecessary, as long as you follow some common-sense precautions and aren’t downloading a bunch of suspicious apps. But they’ve also got a product to sell! (And perhaps a few EVO 3Ds in the process, as well.)

Thanks, Mike!
