Dell launches Streak Pro D43 in China

Streak_pro_d43

Hot on the heels of yesterday's Streak Pro 101DL info, Dell today officially announced the Dell Streak Pro D43. This phone (not the 101DL) is actually the first phone to be utilizing Baidu's Yi operating system, unlike what we heard yesterday.

Although the Streak Pro D43 is not the exact same phone as the 101DL, it is very similar. It's got the same 4.3-inch AMOLED display, the same 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and the same amount of internal memory. This time, though, the phone won't be running on Softbank's network; instead, it will run on China Unicom.

As you can see from the picture above, this Streak Pro looks pretty darn good, which makes me want the thing to arrive stateside even more. Although I doubt it will, the Streak Pro supports HSPA+ so it would be marketed as a 4G phone from the carriers if it was ever picked up.
