Dish Network interested in T-Mobile if AT&T merger fails?

Dishfull1

If you're anything like me, you're sick of hearing about the T-Mobile and AT&T merger after all the news about companies and government entities suing AT&T because of it. Luckily for us, the T-Mobile and AT&T merger is likely to end; it's the possible mergers after it falls through that we have to worry about now.

One of those proposed after-mergers is one by Dish Network. Yes, Dish Network, a company that used to exclusively specialize in satellite television, is now interested in getting into the wireless network business, too. CEO Joseph Clayton had this to say about the path he wants the company to take:

"We want to… create a national wireless network, video, voice and data. We've got expertise in satellite TV, and we will in satellite broadband. The voice part, we'll need some help with."

So, instead of having T-Mobile's familiar name stamped all over your hot new Nokia Lumia 710, you'll have to stare at Dish Network's somewhat-spacey logo whenever you pick it up.
