Dropbox for Android gets updated to 2.0

dropbox 2 android - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Seems like it’s the week for major updates to Android apps, as right after WordPress got its update, Dropbox is also available in version 2.0 for the OS. As with WordPress, the Dropbox update is a complete revamp of the UI, including several much needed additions such as multi-file upload. The UI now looks a bit less basic and the upload section has gotten its own tab in the app instead of just an option in the settings menu. For me it also stopped calling on the built in gallery app for image selection when uploading images (which is now separate from uploading other files) and instead has its own little file browser, as well as another one for “other files”. The app also got some updates to the options available for handing files, namely a popup-menu that lets you do such things as share a link or file or open in other apps much more easily than before. Another great update to a very useful app and I’m glad to see Android getting this kind of love.
