iOS 5 lets you make new photo albums on the device

Well, here’s a feature that passed me straight by when iOS 5 released. Finally, you can create new photo albums on the device, making it possible to organize all those taken or imported photos without a computer. With the Camera Connection Kit on the iPad this new feature should come in handy even with the iPad’s useless camera. To create a new album, simply go to a list pf photos, click the little arrow icon in the top right, select all the images and then hit the “add to”-button. If you already have an album (albums transferred from a computer don’t count, unfortunately) you can also add to existing ones. Quite a nifty feature, and one that it really was about time that they put in the OS itself, instead of having to organize photos using third party apps.
