Sprint offers some customers early upgrades, in-store only

Sprint-early-upgrade-promo

If you are still touting an original HTC EVO 4G, and you are stuck in a contract without an available upgrade, listen up. From now until the end of the year, Sprint is offering certain "high value" customers the chance to upgrade early at full discount in corporate-owned retail stores only.

Right now, it's unclear exactly what "high value" means to Sprint in terms of this unadvertised internal promotion, but I wouldn't be surprised if many customers who were formerly classified as "Premier Gold" would be eligible. Keep in mind that a new two-year contract is required (of course), and that this offer only seems to be available in-store; customers are not reporting any success with tele-sales.

In any case, it seems like a great opportunity to see what all the fuss surrounding the EVO 3D is about, or to get your hands on an EVO world-phone if you plan on traveling abroad anytime soon. So if you are able to successfully upgrade early, please share your experience below!
