Sprint’s latest network enhancements: Seattle and Northern New England

Seattle

Sprint's Network Vision project is continuing full steam ahead, with the latest network improvements happening in Washington, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

In the past three months, Sprint completed 89 network capacity upgrades throughout the Seattle area, with an additional 87 planned for the upcoming three months. Impacted areas include not only Seattle proper, but much of western Washington including Bellingham, Tacoma, and Baker Bay.

Sprint has completed twelve similar network upgrades in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, with thirty more planned for the coming three months. Sprint says that these upgrades will improve voice reliability, in-building coverage, and 3G data coverage, speeds, and capacity.

Sprint also says it has already completed 10,251 network upgrades from August to October. And in case you're not noticing any improvements where you are yet, Sprint is currently working on an additional 22,000 sites. (At least now we know how it is financing all this – at least partially.)

So for our readers currently in Seattle or New England: are you noticing any improvements on your HTC EVO?
