WordPress for Android gets a major overhaul

image

WordPress hasn’t really had the best solutions as far as apps go so far, requiring quite a bit more know-how than using the web editor. Version 2.0 is now out for Android, and this is much more like what you would expect from an app.

The entire UI has been reworked to make it more usable, and now shows off features such as posting videos or checking comments much better. The post editor now relies much less on HTML knowledge and has buttons for things like page break. This version of WordPress puts the Android experience of the service way ahead of that on the iPad, which despite being on version 2.9.whocares of its app doesn’t have such a clean look. Naturally, this was posted from the new app, just to try it out. Seems to be working quite nicely!
