CyanogenMod posts ICS preview for the Touchpad

At the end of last week I came across a video that made me very happy. It is the one that is posted here. This video shows CM9 running on a Touchpad. CM9 is CyanogenMod’s version of Ice Cream Sandwich. As you can see from the video, everything looks to be pretty stable. He says in the video that the only setbacks they have are that video doesn’t play, and the camera doesn’t work. CyanogenMod hasn’t gotten the camera working on the current Alpha 3.5 version of CM7 for the Touchpad yet, so there’s no surprise there. I would imagine that since video is such an important part, that when they get that working we should see a public release. I’m excited to be able to test out the newest version of Android soon, especially since there are some companies that haven’t gotten ICS out for their tablets yet.
