Extended Quick Settings available for rooted HTC EVO 4G running Sense 1.0
If you have an HTC EVO 4G, you should know who tommytomatoe is.
This developer is the genius behind The EVO Classic, the best Sense 1.0 ROM out there for the phone. He's also taking some of the best features from other devices and is porting them over to the OG EVO. This includes the Tweaks app that lets you change options on the fly and a Rosie dock that can remap both the left and right buttons.
The latest goodie tommytomatoe has brought to the OG EVO is Extended Quick Settings (you may remember that ca1ne brought the standard Quick Settings and Recent Apps to Sense 1.0 a few months ago). Extended Quick Settings includes options for adjusting many different volume options, a quick toggle for the flashlight, options for vibration and silent modes, an airplane mode toggle, and an option for the "Classic Control Panel," which will launch any Tweaks app installed on your EVO.
This flashable .zip mod should work on every Sense 1.0 ROM, but your mileage may vary. It appears to flash on stock rooted deodexed ROMs, but may have an issue on a custom ROM. If you are running a Sense 1.0 custom ROM right now, then let your developer know about this new feature and cross your fingers that it'll be included in the next release.
