How to stop “Gapps” from force closing all the time on your HTC EVO View 4G
So far I'm loving the Honeycomb update on the HTC EVO View 4G, except for one pesky little problem: about every five minutes or so, I've been getting an error message that "com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly." If you've been experiencing this problem too, and you are about to go crazy because you just can't figure out why it's doing this, I've got just the solution.
Just go to Settings > Accounts and sync > Google accounts, and deselect Sync Internet. Then you should be good to go!
Apparently, this issue stems from a bug in Honeycomb that doesn't allow your Google bookmarks to properly sync if you have more than 100. The problem should (hopefully) be fixed in Ice Cream Sandwich, but that's a problem for EVO View owners since it's probable that this particular version of Android won't ever officially find it's way to this specific 7-inch tablet.
So if synced bookmarks are a requirement for you, and you have more than 100, it looks like you'll just have to rely on a third-party solution such as ChromeMarks for now.
