Price for GSM HTC EVO 3D drops in UK

Evo-3d-gsm

For our readers across the pond who have been looking for an unlocked GSM version of the HTC EVO 3D, you will probably be pleased to know that several retailers in the UK have cut the price in half. ASDA Direct is selling the device for £249.99 (about USD $388.61), while Expansys is asking £284.99 (about USD $443.02) and is including free shipping.

This is a considerable price drop, as the original unsubsidized price was £499.99 (about  USD $777.23). Additionally, this brings the EVO 3D to a price point that is £100 (USD $155.45) below the HTC Sensation, which lacks 3D and has less memory. However, these deals look like they're for the UK only, so you may be out of luck if you're stateside and you don't know anyone in the UK whose address you can borrow.

In any case, if you are able to snag one, it's a great deal, considering these phones were double this just several months ago.
