Ultra-Wide Band Wireless USB frees our gadgets from another cable
Over the past couple days, CES has given us a glimpse into the future of Android smartphones.
I'm already hoping that Gorilla Glass 2 and WaterBlock will make its way into the next HTC EVO, and now I think I want a newly unveiled feature called Ultra-Wide Band Wireless USB Technology in there too. That's right . . . wireless USB!
As you can see in the video above, there is about a 14 millisecond latency. But as far as wireless video mirroring goes, that's not too shabby.
Imagine having your smartphone resting on the coffee table while you stream Netflix straight to your HDTV with no cords necessary! Well, except for that awkward little box that has to plug into your TV, but they say that's getting smaller.
