Ainol Novo 7 Paladin ICS tablet goes on sale for $107

ainol novo paladin - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Fresh off Chinese factory lines comes the Ainol Novo Paladin, a tablet that is rather similar in specs and name to the Ainovo Novo 7 we wrote about a while ago. While the latter was categorized as China only though, the Ainol Novo Paladin just popped up on DealExtreme, a worldwide online store that most people have used at this point in time. The tablets has a XBurst 1GHz CPY, GC860 CPU, 512MB RAM, two-point capacitive touch display, 7-inch 800 x 480 pixel display, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 4000mAh battery, and last but not least, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The specs aren’t good compared to more expensive tablets, but for something that is half the price of a Kindle Fire and comes with free worldwide shipping, it’s hard to complain. Here in Europe, this price basically puts it at 1/4 the price you’ll find any well known brand at. The battery is also not bad, and while battery life depends on battery efficiency, I wouldn’t be surprised if this hit 8 hours. That makes it a decent tablet for people with empty wallets or people who just want very basic features, like email, music, web browsing and ebook reading.
