Asus Transformer ICS update now rolling out
The Transformer Prime got its ICS update over a month ago, but the original Transformer has been on the waiting list for its update – until now. The WiFi version update is rolling out now in the US, Canada, and the UK, and probably (hopefully) elsewhere too.
The Transformer might have been pushed into the shadows by its successor, but it’s still a very capable tablet, and ICS should do it good. People are reporting that the update leaves root alone too, which is certainly a nice thing. So, if you have an original Transformer, start hitting that update button and see if it has come to your tablet yet.
