Celebrate Leap Day with Google Music and 29 albums for $2.99

Recently, I spent a little time bashing Google Music for its inability to stream music via third party apps. But at the end of the day, Google Music is great. To celebrate that special occassion that only occurs once every four years (Leap Day), the company has slashed the prices on many popular albums.

Two big sales are going on right now. The first is the actual leap year sale: 29 albums for $2.99. I was actually quite impressed with the eligible lineup. The cheap albums include the latest from Lil Wayne, LMFAO, Big Sean, Lady Gaga, Drake, and Rihanna. At the same time, some classic albums have had their prices slashed: Dr. Dre's 2001, Bob Marley's Legend, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, and Elton John's Rocket Man: Number One's

The second sale includes some of the best greatest hits albums for only $3.99. The artists include Eminem, Tupac, Toby Keith, Queen, Elvis, and Frank Sinatra.

Make sure you have updated your HTC EVO to the latest Android Market and Google Music. Then, enjoy some cheap tunes!
