EOL for HTC EVO View 4G gets adjusted

New-evo-view-eol

Last month we reported that the HTC EVO View 4G tablet was scheduled to be EOL-ed the week of January 29. That week has come and gone without a peep, but according to the latest leaked EOL schedule from Sprint, the EVO View's life has been extended slightly, although it's unclear how long.

According to the internal Sprint document above, the EVO View will now receive EOL status sometime in early February, although a specific date is not given. Additionally, we learn from the above document that the original black EVO 4G was bumped up to the week of January 29 (formerly the week of January 22), although it hasn't been available in many retail outlets for quite some time now.

It really doesn't seem like that long ago when Sprint was really trying to pump up excitement for the EVO View through in-store advertisements and targeted emails to customers, although all the promotion must not have worked. Too bad!
