HTC’s mysterious teasers: what do they mean?

Htc-teaser-4

Yesterday, HTC dropped a mysterious hint on Facebook about what they might have up their sleeves for Mobile World Congress in just a few days. And today, they dropped another one.

The first teaser was a picture of a phone outline with the number 5 inside, along with a caption that read: "This Sunday, you'll discover something fast." Today's teaser was similar – the number 4 inside of a phone, with this caption: "This Sunday, you'll hear something authentic."

What could these teasers mean? A device with a 5-inch screen, to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Note? A Tegra 3 device with 5 cores (4+1)? Android 4.0? Sense 4.0? Or are the numbers no more than a daily countdown? If so, yesterday's teaser could still be referring to a super-fast processor, and today's teaser might be in reference to Beats Audio and HTC's rumored streaming music service.

What do you think these mysterious hints actually mean? We'd love to see your guesses in the comments below.
