White HTC EVO 4G spotted in 2012 Superbowl commercial
Apparently Chase Bank didn't get the memo that the white HTC EVO 4G was EOL-ed last year. And that's fine with us, as the original EVO 4G is still a very capable phone, even if its technology is considered old now.
So imagine our delight when we got a reader tip that a white EVO 4G was spotted in a commercial during the 2012 Superbowl, more than a year and a half after the first EVO was released into the wild. In other words, the EVO 4G definitely has some staying power, and that's saying a lot considering how many other phones HTC has released between now and then.
You can spot the EVO right around the 20-second mark in the video above; it looks like a white EVO 4G with a black battery door. (Maybe they're going for the whole Oreo look.) And with that, happy Friday, everyone!
