Add more features to your Sense 1.0 notification pulldown with Super EQS for rooted HTC EVO 4G

This mod is for rooted HTC EVO 4Gs running a Sense 1.0 ROM based off of the 4.67.651.3 OTA update (like Red Line, Nitrous, ICSish).

For those who think the HTC EVO 4G is a dead device, you better think again! It seems like every day more and more features are trickling down to my aging smartphone.

Remember when you first got your HTC EVO 4G and pulled down the status bar? Yup, you had your notifications and . . . well, that's it! Even today if you are running stock, then that's all the features your notification pulldown will offer. But we all know the devs won't stop there.

Way back when, ca1ne brought Quick Settings and Recent Apps to the OG EVO and recently added Swiping Notifications to the pulldown. Other devs (like freeza) have put together tutorials to get rid of the ever-annoying GPS icon in the status bar and a fix to show 1X coverage properly. tommytomatoe has probably brought the coolest features to the pulldown with his Extended Quick Settings (adding features like individual volume controls and a flashlight toggle to Quick Settings). He also added a sweet new "Task Manager" feature into Quick Settings based on an idea from that G&E post.

Unfortunately, when he ported Extended Quick Settings to the latest OTA update, tommytomatoe decided to leave the majority of the sweet features out and leave it up to other people to add them in. And well, I felt compelled to do the job!

All of the features above including a tweaks app to mess with even more features has been added. Be sure to check out the full details for what I call Super Extended Quick Settings (Super EQS for short) in our forum at the link below.
