Give your Android tablet a new keyboard for free with GO Keyboard

go keyboard - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The software keyboards that come with Android devices don’t always suit a user’s needs. Despite my Galaxy Tab 7. Plus coming with several different keyboards, including Swype,  I never really like any of them. The best one was the stock one, but it has an amazingly annoying issue where it won’t do continuous backspace if you hold the button down. I’ve tried many of the more expensive keyboard replacements on the Play Store, but the one I eventually ended up using is GO Keyboard.

For me, the choice was all about how the keyboard ended up looking and working on portrait mode. Everything from key size and placement to easy access to switching between Norwegian and English resulted in this choice, and even though there are still things I’m not 100% happy with, it’s better for me than anything else I’ve tried. Like many other keyboards, GO Keyboard supports themes, plugins, has a plethora of settings and features, and works well on tablets. However unlike many keyboard replacements, GO Keyboard is free. Can’t argue with that. So, if you’re not entirely satisfied with your soft keyboard, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.
