GO Launcher HD beta available for testing
GO Launcher EXs my…eh… GO to Launcher on my Android phone, but I prefer ADW Launcher EX on my Android tablet because you can deactivate the dock. The GO team has now put up a beta version of the new tablet version of GO Launcher on its website, allowing you to try the new GO Launcher HD for free (it’ll probably be free once it’s out too, unlike what my late night brain is hinting at in the video. I tested it out, and it seems…well honestly it’s so limited right now that I don’t know how to describe it. Until more features are implemented, it’s frankly too basic to even say anything about.
Still, it’s free to try out for anyone who wants to check out what the team is working on. The edit screen and the status bar are great new features in any case, as long as the rest is put in there too. I do apologize for the audio issues in the video above, I have got to find a better solution for getting audio on screencasts as the internal microphone simply picks up too much pressing and tampering with the device itself.
