HTC EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G only a penny at Amazon Wireless

Sprint-evo-3d-pennyLeave it to Amazon Wireless to throw another awesome sale. This time, the HTC EVO 3D and the EVO Design 4G are only a penny for new Sprint customers through March 26, with no activation fees until next Monday, March 19.

This is truly a pretty compelling offer, and it's actually part of a bigger sale, in which Amazon is offering all 4G Sprint smartphones for just $0.01. It kind of seems like Amazon is trying to make room for some LTE goodness, doesn't it?

In any case, if you have good 4G WiMAX coverage now, and Sprint hasn't given you a timeframe yet for LTE, then this is a great deal for some pretty powerful phones. Of course, if you aren't a new customer, prices are a little higher, but still pretty good: the EVO 3D is $39.99 for add-a-lines, and $79.99 for eligible upgrades. The EVO Design 4G is still a penny for add-a-lines, but goes up to $19.99 for eligible upgrades.
