HTC One V will have Sense 4.0 after all

One-v-smallAlthough this didn't get much attention back at Mobile World Congress when HTC first announced the One Series, it had seemed as if the HTC One V would not be graced with HTC's scaled-back and further-refined Sense 4.0. Rather, the entry level One device would have Sense 3.6, which is the same version of Sense that HTC is updating most of its existing smartphones to, along with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

However, according to the latest information out of Canada, the One V will indeed run the latest version of Sense. This makes logical sense (pun intended), since HTC is attempting to create a unified "One" experience with these three different handsets. Additionally, since Sense 4.0 is less bloated than previous versions of Sense, the One V probably will benefit from this the most, given its single core processor and 512MB of memory.

There's still no release date for the One V on Telus in Canada, but we can probably expect it sometime within the next two months or so.
