According to newly leaked information, a new EVO device could be released as early as June 10. This is the same device we previously thought was codenamed the HTC Jewel, but as it turns out, is being referred to internally as the HTC Jet. Here are the rumored specs for the next EVO:
- 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor
- 1 GB RAM
- CDMA1X, EV-DO Rev 0/A/B, LTE (UE category 3)
- LTE band class 25 (PCS A-G blocks)
- Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 4.7" S-LCD 1280×720 screen
- Corning Gorilla Glass 2
- Solid polycarbonate body
- NFC capable
Except for the 3G/4G radios, these specs are identical to the HTC One X, which will be released on AT&T later this year. T-Mobile is also slated to get the HTC One S, although no announcements have been made regarding the One Series coming to Sprint. This leads me to believe that HTC has decided to keep the EVO brand name going for Sprint, even though this device looks just like the One X.
