RIM releases official BlackBerry PlayBook keyboard case for $120

Playbook_keyboard

As you know, RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is selling for just $199 now. That means if you bought one after the price drop, you've got a bit of extra cash that you could spend on apps or accessories for it.

RIM is hoping that you'll give the money you saved on the PlayBook right back to them. Today, the Waterloo-based company unveiled the official BlackBerry PlayBook keyboard case. As the name implies, this case adds a keyboard (and trackpad) to the PlayBook – this gives you a larger area on which to type and also lets you see all of the 7-inch screen.

Unfortunately, the only drawback to this new accessory is its price. At $120, it's among the most expensive accessories for any device. But again, if your PlayBook was purchased during the sale, you'd still come in at a price under what the PlayBook originally cost: $499 for the PlayBook originally, and $318 for the PlayBook and keyboard cover now.

The case is being sold at the source link below. Will any of you take the plunge?
