Good and EVO

Rumored specs are leaked for the HTC EVO ONE [Updated]

New-evo

We've been tossing around the possibility for days that the HTC Jet, which looks pretty similar to the HTC One X, is really going to be the next HTC EVO. Now, thanks to an anonymous tipster, we have what very well could be an almost-complete spec sheet for this mysterious device that's rumored to be announced on April 4.

According to the anonymous tipster, the phone will be called the HTC EVO ONE (no, my caps lock didn't just get stuck), and it will be released on June 6. Additionally, it will have a monstrous 2650mAh non-removable battery, which should hopefully appease those of you who like to buy bigger batteries anyway. It will have a kickstand, and it will have a microSD card slot.

Additionally:

  • 4.7-inch, 720p AMOLED screen
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Krait processor
  • 16GB internal memory
  • Android 4.0 with 4.0 sense
  • 8MP camera with 2MP front-facing camera
  • 4G LTE
  • Beats by Dre audio

Keep in mind that nothing is confirmed, and this could all soon prove to be fake. But what do you think? A worthy successor to the EVO 4G and EVO 3D, or still not good enough? Personally, I say: Hell, yeah. Bring it on.

[Android Central] Thanks, John and Chris!

Update: Some other sources are reporting that the device will be called the HTC EVO One (One not in caps), and that the device will have a full metal casing, unlike the plastic body of the HTC One X.
