Sprint offers $100 to some new customers
According to the latest leaked information from Sprint, the company will start offering $100 to select new customers in an effort to drum up business. Right now, there are two possible variations to this $100 offer:
- Some non-Sprint consumers will receive alerts about this offer via their mobile phones. If notified, the potential customer will have to open a new account with Sprint and then register his or her mobile phone number and email address on a specific Sprint website. The customer will have to port his or her old number in by April 18 and keep service active for at least three months. The credit will then appear on the customer's billing statement.
- Other non-customers will receive an offer via snail mail after March 19 with a unique offer code. They will have to register this code when opening a new account, which must be done before April 15.
It looks like that, in order to take advantage of this offer, customers will have to buy their phones online at sprint.com, at a Sprint store, or over the phone with Sprint customer service. So no double-dipping with the Best Buy offer we just told you about.
Anyway, free money is free money, so it's worth asking about, even if you don't get notified that you're eligible for this offer. Good luck!
