Sprint offers free Otterbox Commuter case with HTC EVO 3D purchase

Sprint-evo3d-otterbox

For those of you not patient enough to see if the HTC Jewel really does turn out to be the next HTC EVO, then Sprint's got a pretty good deal going right now for the HTC EVO 3D. Not only is it on sale for a very reasonable $49.99, but Sprint is also throwing in a free Otterbox Commuter Case if you order before March 10.

This offer is for new lines only, and you'll of course have to sign a new contract and pay the usual activation fee. But it's still a good deal for an awesome phone and a very worthy case. (You can check out our in-depth review here.)

Still, I'd only jump on this deal if I already had decent 4G WiMAX coverage where I was at, with no hope of getting LTE in the foreseeable future. Or, it still might be a good deal if you're in a 3G-only area, also with no hope for LTE anytime soon.

But if LTE is something you're interested in, I'd definitely wait.
