Galaxy S III shows up in AnTuTu benchmarks list
Another day, another S III news story. This time the soon to be official device has ninja'd itself onto the results list of the benchmarking software AnTuTu, and decided it might as well set up shop right there at the top. The listing for the S III includes specs, which goes against the leaked video from last week and credits the device with a 12 megapixel camera (not 8) and a 4.7-inch screen (not 4.6-inch). There's also a dual core 1.4Ghz Exynos 4212 in there, not a quad core. Honestly, at this point, there are so many versions of the S III having been leaked out there that you'd think there are 5 different S IIIs coming.
As for the benchmark, it doesn't show an actual number, just that it beats the previous winner – the Transformer Prime. You shouldn't blindly trust benchmarks though, and frankly it wouldn't surprise me if Samsung planted this in there on purpose to get publicity, but I think it's safe to assume the S III won't be slow at any rate.
