HTC EVO One may have the fastest smartphone camera when released

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Sony Xperia S are some of the best smartphones out in the world right now. One of the features that makes these phones particularly good is their cameras.

HTC already announced at MWC that phones carrying Sense 4.0 will contain better cameras and a software called ImageSense. Naturally, then, many are probably interested to see how the EVO One will handle the competition. Although the device itself hasn't leaked into the wild yet, the international HTC One X (the EVO One's cousin) is certainly out and about.

The fine people over at SoyaCincau have pitted these three Ice Cream Sandwich-touting heavy-hitters together and as you can see in the video above, the One X beat the other phones in speed in all categories except for the "Lock-to-Camera Test" against the Xperia S.

It should be noted that this was due to the Xperia S's dedicated camera button. We pointed out earlier that the EVO One may just have a dedicated camera button too, so these results may change once we get a hold of Sprint's variant of the One X.
