According to Chinese website WPDang, Huawei has put together a team of over 70 engineers to work on producing Windows Phone Apollo (Windows 8) smartphone as well as a full Windows 8 tablet which will include LTE.
Details on both devices are scarce, but it seems sensible to assume that Huawei's Windows smarpthone will look a lot like its current Android devices. The tablet is a bit more vague, but hopefully Huawei will up their game from the usually mid to low end tablets they have made in the past.
I have yet to actually use a Huawei-made smartphone since the company started looking toward the high end, but based on spec sheets and images their smartphones look killer. If they do in fact put out a Windows Phone 8 device that is a version of the Ascend D Quad, it would have a good chance at being the best Windows Phone smartphone yet.
