Store employee says Lumia 900 may be coming to T-Mobile this summer

As is probably quite clear from our coverage, the Nokia Lumia 900 is one of our favorite Windows Phones yet, and a certainly an awesome piece of hardware regardless of your OS of choice. For now, the incredibly popular smartphone has been an AT&T exclusive, but if the word of a T-Mobile employee is to be believed, then that may not be the case for long.

Andrew Bares of WMPoweruser is reporting that he was told by a T-Mobile store employee (it is not specified whether it was a salesperson, manager, or representative) that the Lumia 900 would be available on the magenta carrier sometime this summer. On its own, this wouldn't be much to go on, but past rumors have said that AT&T may have a 45 day exclusive deal with Nokia, after which the company will be able to sell the device through any carrier it wants. Not only that, other rumors have suggested that the Lumia 900 may be coming not only to T-Mobile, but also the rest of the major US carriers as well.

T-Mobile has always been my favorite carrier for both their cheap prices and hacker friendliness, and as we all know, competition is always good for the consumer. So, whether it's the Lumia 900 or not, I hope we start to see plenty of high-end Windows Phones show up on all carriers.
