MagniCase iPhone case wants to make your iPhone screen 5.3 inches

iPhones are small if you ask me. Even compared to relatively normal sized Android phones they're small, and when put next to something like the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, and HTC One X they look like some sort of Bluetooth handsfree that would tuck inside a compartment in the other phones. The small size is naturally an issue for watching video and such, where resolution isn't always the only thing that matters. However it can also be a major issue for people with bad vision, and iOS' reputation for having great accessibility features can quickly fall short due to the screen size.

The MagniCase Kickstarter project is all about magnifying the screen, and it does so in a way that anyone who has owned a Game Boy of some generation will recognize: a giant lense over the screen. The lense flips around from the back of the case and magnifies the screen about 1.5 times, to the equivalent of 5.3 inches. The entire setup looks a bit weird of course, and I know a lot of people will instantly call this stupid, but remember all those people who would use this to be able to use the phone at all, not just have video display bigger. That's the kind of use some of the comments to the project hints to as well, so there's definitely a need for this.

The project is looking for $25,000 to get funded, and has 35 days to get the remaining $20,000. $25 will make sure you get one if it's funded.
