Office Suite Pro on sale for 80% off through April 4
In case you're looking for something a bit more advanced than the Polaris Office app that's included on the HTC EVO 3D or EVO View 4G, you might want to check out Office Suit Pro, which is on sale in the Google Play Store for a mere $2.99 (normally $15), through tomorrow.
Personally, I've used all the major office suites for Android: Quickoffice, Docs To Go, Google Docs, Polaris, and Office Suite Pro. All of them have their strong and weak points, but I can say with confidence that Office Suite Pro does indeed offer everything you'd need for light word processing, presentation creation and editing, and even some advanced spreadsheet functions.
A recent design update brings it up-to-date with Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs, and its tablet interface is decent on the EVO View. And at $2.99, the price is right for almost everyone. Of course, you're not going to get the full Microsoft Office experience here – no Android app offers that yet – but if you find yourself limited by Polaris and Google Docs, definitely give this one a try.
