Samsung to introduce “next Galaxy” on May 3rd

Next_galaxy

Mondays are normally pretty horrible, but Samsung has made this one a little more bearable by sending out invitations for its Galaxy S III launch event. We had previously heard rumors that the company would be introducing the "next Galaxy" on May 22nd, but that was confirmed to be false today: Samsung will actually introduce the line on May 3rd.

Surprisingly, Samsung's invitation doesn't say anything about the Galaxy S III; it simply says "Come and meet the next Galaxy." I don't know if that actually means the new Samsung flagship will be named anything else, but it's something to keep in mind when Sammy reveals what it's come up with on May 3rd.

It's been a long, hard wait for the new devices. We've been hearing a lot of reports about what will be inside the new phone, what it will look like, and even how its camera will perform. Luckily, though, it's only two weeks away. I know I can't wait, but how about you?
