Wave Launcher for Android lets you access a second launcher from anywhere in the OS

One of the big issues with any app store is the power that the “Top Apps” sections have. They can be great for finding new apps to play with, but a lot of times great apps get overlooked. I stumbled across one such app today, called Wave Launcher. Despite the name, it isn’t a launcher like how Go Launcher is a launcher. It doesn’t replace your home screen, or your lock screen, or any other already existing concept. What it does is that it gives you a customizable row of icons and widgets that can be accessed from anywhere in the OS with a simple gesture. The video explains things best in this case, so hit the play button and see what the app has to offer. I have to say this is one of the best finds I’ve had in ages, and I hope that some publicity will help the $2 app grow beyond that 10,000-50,000 download statistic that seems ridiculously low for an app like this.
