HTC EVO 4G LTE is out for delivery right now
While Sprint still hasn't actually announced an official release date for the HTC EVO 4G LTE, preorders should be arriving on doorsteps right now. Sprint sent out shipping notices yesterday, and UPS fully intends to deliver most of these devices by the end of the day today.
If you preordered the phone through Best Buy, an internal memo that was leaked last night indicates that in-store preorders could be arriving as early as today; employees have been instructed to fulfill preorders as soon as the inventory arrives.
Those who preordered from other retailers like Wirefly seem to be getting mixed signals from customer service reps about when they can expect the device, although my guess is it will be sooner rather than later.
It looks like people who didn't preorder will have to wait for Sprint to announce an official release date before they can go to stores and purchase the device. My best guess is that this will either be tomorrow, or Tuesday, May 29 (due to the Memorial Day holiday).
In the meantime, be sure to let us know below when you receive your device, as well as your first impressions! Is the EVO 4G LTE everything you'd hoped it would be?
