PowerSkin extended battery case is now available for HTC One S

Powerskin-one-sOne of my biggest concerns about the HTC One S in my review yesterday was the battery life: while I found it OK, and I think most normal people will also find it adequate, I understand that power users may not. Enter the PowerSkin extended battery case, which provides your phone with some extra juice while simultaneously protecting it in a silicone case.

Supposedly, this case offers 1500mAh of extra power while only weighing 0.05lbs. You can safely leave it on your phone all the time, and it even comes with a handy on-off switch to control when it charges your device.

This kind of convenience does come at a pretty steep price: the case will set you back $69.99, although you can get $5 off with promo code PSHTC123 at the checkout. I’m sure these types of cases will become more and more common as non-removable batteries become the norm, but I’ve never actually tried one of these out myself; be sure to let us know if you have!
