Prototype 2 gets iOS companion app

prototype 2 companion - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Companion apps to games is a thing now, and the latest game to join the club is Prototype 2. The Prototype 2 Official Sidekick app will help you find collectibles in the game, keep track of them, and also learn more about the power ups. It’s a free, universal app, however only 1/3 of the maps are actually unlocked by default – the other two will cost you another $2 through in-app purchases. Kinda greedy if you ask me, console games these days are running on very outdated hardware, at prices way higher than both PC games and mobile games, so I quite frankly think that such companion apps should be very free. If you’ve already dropped the dough on the game though, I guess the app won’t make too much of a difference.
