Quad-core HTC One X receives second OTA update to 1.29.401.7

One-x-1.29.401.7If you’ve been lucky enough to get your hands on the international, unlocked, quad-core HTC One X, then you’ll want to head into your settings and check for another software update that will bump your version up to 1.29.401.7. The update comes in at around 35MB, and while we don’t yet have an official changelog, users are reporting that color temperature problems and random WiFi disconnects seem to be fixed.

Meanwhile, if you’ve got a British iteration of the device from Three, you’ve also got an update waiting for you: this one bumps you up to version 1.28.771.9 and is actually the OTA update that we told you about a couple weeks ago that is supposed to improve battery life. So while it’s unfortunate that some people with carrier-branded devices are still not running the latest software after receiving the latest update, an update is still better than nothing at all … right?
