Specs for a new HTC One S variant are leaked

Htc-ville-leaked-specs

The specs for a new device somewhere in between the HTC One S and One V have been leaked, although it’s unclear if, when, and where the device will be released. Code-named the HTC Ville C, this is basically a slightly-cheaper version of the One S, shipping with a dual-core 1.2GHz S3 processor instead of the newer S4. (According to the leak, the 1.7GHz listed above is a typo.)

The specs also include a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED display, 16GB of memory, 1GB of RAM, 8MP back camera, VGA front camera, and a 1650mAh battery. Interestingly, these specs also mention Sense 4.5, which is the first we’ve heard of a newer version of Sense.

If this turns out to be true, then this is an interesting turn of events for a company that says it wants to slim down its device portfolio and concentrate on making fewer (but better) devices.
