You can soon bill Google Play books, movies, and music purchases to your Sprint account

Google recently announced on Google+ that Sprint customers will soon be able to purchase books, movies, and music from their Sprint devices and bill these purchases to their Sprint accounts. This option has been available for a while now for app purchases, and I've always wondered why similar functionality wasn't available for other types of purchses in the Google Play Store.

I definitely find myself more motivated to buy stuff from Google Play when it's not charged to my credit card right away. I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't feel like I'm wasting as much money when I'm able to bill purchases to my Sprint account directly and pay for it at the end of my billing cycle. I realize that logically this makes no sense, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

There's no word yet on when exactly this will be available for Sprint customers, other than "soon." It's not showing up yet on my HTC EVO 3D, but I imagine it will any time now.
