HTC One V launches on TELUS in Canada tomorrow

one v telus - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The HTC One V has been available in Canada for just over a week on Koodo Mobile and Bell, but TELUS decided to delay their launch of the device for unknown reasons. Luckily, it’s finally set to be released by the Canadian carrier tomorrow, June 8, for the somewhat reasonable price of  $289.99 (in Canadian dollars) off-contract. TELUS is also offering various contract terms that will get you the device for a bit less, including a 1-year term ($229.99 for the One V), a 2-year term ($189.99), and a 3-year term ($29.99).

The One V is the entry-level One Series phone, sporting a 3.7-inch qHD display (480×800), a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and a 5MP camera that can shoot 720p HD video. Yes, you could do better, but you could also do much worse.

There’s still no official word on US availability or pricing, but HTC has officially confirmed that it’s due to be released south of the Canadian border sometime this summer; some leaks have pegged this for Virgin Mobile.
