Poll: Does your Samsung Galaxy Nexus have Jelly Bean yet?
I bought my Samsung Galaxy Nexus with the expectation that I’d be among the first to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Luckily, I will be; Google confirmed to owners of the HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus that their devices will be the first to receive Jelly Bean – and that they’ll be updated sometime this week.
That announcement was made yesterday and since then, I’ve been feverishly tapping the ‘Check now’ box under the System Updates pane in Settings. Unfortunately, that’s of no use, as my Nexus is still running the same old Ice Cream Sandwich that it has been for the entire time I’ve owned the device.
However, Google did say that the update will roll out throughout the week, so I’m not entirely worried that I don’t have it yet; I’m just a bit disappointed that I don’t. It’s so hard to wait for an update when it promises awesome stuff like Google Now and an even better UI.
Some people do already have the update though, and I want to know if any of you do. Participate in our poll so we can see how the update process is going for everyone!
