HTC One V receives OTA update to 2.08.401.2, now supports Media Link

one v media link - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

If you own the international version of the HTC One V, you should check now for an available OTA update to 2.08.401.2. Coming in at 46.77MB, it’s a fairly significant update that brings with it compatibility with the HTC Media Link HD. Frankly, I”m a little surprised that the device wasn’t compatible with the Media Link already, but I’m happy to see that HTC took the time to update it.

It is important to note that some users are reporting that their phones updated to 2.09.707.1; this software is probably identical to the 2.08 update, except for some minor carrier revisions.

In addition to adding HTC Media Link compatibility, the latest update also allows users to stream media from DLNA servers, and it looks as if all sound enhancement have been removed, except for Beats Audio.

You can check if the update it available for you by going to your System updates menu in your settings.
