SIM unlock your rooted HTC One S for free

t mobile htc one s - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

As Android enthusiasts have known for quite some time now, rooting a device is the best way to unlock its full potential. However, rooting a device is not the same as unlocking the SIM card; indeed, as many GSM customers have come to find out, a SIM-locked smartphone is usually only unlockable if you’re lucky enough to have a carrier give you the unlock code, or if you pay someone else to unlock it for you.

Luckily, developers have come up with a relatively painless way to SIM unlock the HTC One S, as long as it’s rooted. There are three different ways to do this, and tutorials for each can be found at the source link below. Needless to say, all you need is the IMEI code from your One S, a SIM card that your One S will not currently accept, and a few minutes of time to set aside and do this.
