WordPress wants your input on its mobile apps

WPWP Dev Chats - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

I’ve noted in the past that I’m not a big fan of WordPress’ mobile apps. They’re passable, but far from a joy to use. This goes for all the WordPress mobile apps I’ve tried, particularly on Android and Windows Phone. While the apps might not be fixed overnight, you can help guide the direction of the apps by participating in WordPress’ weekly mobile dev chats, which have been restarted as of today.

These chats are primarily aimed at developers looking to contribute to the apps, but they’re still a great way to ensure that your must-have features or most annoying bugs make the cut. This applies to all platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry. WordPress’ Brad Angelcyk is encouraging interested parties to join the discussion in the WordPress mobile IRC channel every Wednesday at 15:00 UTC. Who knows? With your help, Android and Windows Phone apps might not be so bad in the future.
