Because most of our excitement yesterday surrounded the much-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for the HTC EVO 3D, it was easy to forget about the EVO’s smaller and younger sibling, the HTC EVO Design 4G. Much to our delight, it wasn’t left behind, and it too received the upgrade at the same time, bumping its software version up to 3.14.651.0.

The update comes in at 256.04MB, so it’s definitely a good idea to make sure you have a solid WiFi or 4G WiMAX connection before downloading. Here’s the official changelog, which looks identical to the one for the EVO 3D:

  • Upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0)
  • Home screen folders
  • Launch Bar for commonly used apps
  • Improved Android Browser
  • Improved Camera Experience
  • Face Unlock
  • Resizable widgets
  • Add/Remove Panels

To check if the update is available for you, just go to  Settings > About phone > Software updates. And then come back here to tell us how it’s working out for you!
