If you’ve got a Rogers-branded Canadian version of the HTC One X, then you should probably start checking for any available OTA updates. That’s because Rogers recently announced via Twitter that the software on this flagship HTC device is currently being updated to 1.94.631.3.

Here’s the official tweet from @RogersBuzz:

HTC One X users! An update is now available to improve Wi-Fi stability/Media Link performance – Go to your “About” Setting to update.

The update comes in at around 67MB, so make sure you’re not too close to your data cap before downloading.  Additionally, if you’re rooted, it’s best to wait until a rooted version of this update becomes available, or until your custom ROM developer releases an update. Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper has been known to work for many, but it has previously failed for me when updating my HTC EVO 4G LTE, so be careful.

If you’ve installed the update successfully, be sure to let us know how it’s working out for you. Have you noticed those WiFi and Media Link improvements?
